The Voice of the Spirit‏

From the realm of spirit to the physical realm we are each sent forth.And like a babe in the woods we are exposed from the instant of birthuntil our final breath, to the cacophony of life. We experience theintrusion of sound and physical experiences at every step of ourjourney. Throughout our lives the voices and actions of others of ourkind seek to influence us to their ways. Like a leaf caught in themaelstrom of the ocean, we are tossed this way and that by the opinionsand biases of those around us.

Every human on earth seeks tooffer answers to questions that they don't understand. And yet so fewwill admit to such a lack of understanding. Rather then admit to beingignorant of the meaning of life, humans will create endless facades.

Wecreate religions and politics and engage in wars in the name of Deity,and still we don't follow the most obvious choice and that is to stopand listen to the voice of Spirit.

And yet I wonder if the voice of Spirit is of a sound that we cannot hear.

Unless of course we shut out the din of those around us who themselves have not the answers.
Everyhuman on earth from an atheist to a member of a religion to those whofollow a spiritual path is a seeker to some degree. And even though weare all naive students in the course of life the din of voices neverseems to subside. At what point do we admit that we don't have all ofthe answers and finally sit back and simply listen?

Everyperson on earth has one thing in common. And that commonality isbelief. Whether it is in the belief of something or against a givenbelief, it serves as a common ground for all. And so what us it, thatdrives us to such lengths to establish our thoughts in such a manner?
Could this be the language in which Spirit speaks to each of us?

Whena student of life walks into the comforting embrace of a deep andancient forest, and thoughts that are not ones own begin to fill oneshead, could this be the voice of Spirit?
Is it that Spirit speaks to us in a way that requires us to set aside our own voices and simply listen?

Whatif the whole world suddenly ceased the din of self servingadmonishments of each other’s beliefs and personal biases and justlistened to the voice of Spirit?

What kind of a world would wehave then, I wonder? Would it be the chaotic morass of humanity that wehave today? Would humanity be splintered into so many invectives if wewere able and willing to recognize our lack of existential knowledgeand let Spirit show us the way?

Realistically our species hasproven as a whole to be incapable of such a basic discipline,preferring instead to engage in insecurities brought on by our lack ofunderstanding of life not only in this realm but throughout thespiritual journey assigned to each of us.

These insecuritiesare borne out by our eagerness to engage in prejudices based upon thecolor of ones skin, ones religious/spiritual beliefs, political views,ethnicity and a myriad of other redundant excuses of why one student iscrowing about how they are superior to another, at least within eachones own minds. And yet there is a small reprieve from suchself-imposed roadblocks on seeking such answers to the Great Mysteriesof life.

Fortunately spiritual growth is not dependent on ourspecies as a whole crossing through the threshold of realization asone. Each one of us has the opportunity to make an independent decisionon whether to allow the voice of Spirit to filter through the detritusof our minds. We can each decide on whether to be an attentive studentor simply melding into the mob of lost souls who seek no betteralternatives.

As it is, Spirit speaks to us in many different ways. If only we are willing to take the time to listen.

Haveyou ever found yourself drifting off into that mysterious realm ofdreams only to encounter a dream that was so vivid and different fromyour normal experiences in such an ethereal landscape that it left youquestioning the import of such a dream?

Could this be the voice of Spirit speaking out to you?

Haveyou ever ascended into the depths of a deep and contemplativemeditation and while on your journey you began to have images from anunknown source flash across the dark void of your subconscious?

Could this be Spirit seeking to make a connection?

Thevoice of Spirit comes across as a quiet offering that does not attemptto shout above the din of noise created by humankind. For Spirit isindisputably the ancient teacher and not the boisterous students knownas humankind. The voice of Spirit is a teacher that transcends the dawnof humanity itself.

How many times have you found yourself ina contentious situation that required a difficult decision to be madeand it was suggested that you listen to your “Inner” voice? Could thisInner voice actually be the sage voice of Spirit patiently waiting tooffer you guidance in your time of dire need? Could such an inner voicebe the thread of communication that Spirit uses to connect with all ofhumanity regardless of the multitude of divisions that we devise toseparate ourselves from one another?

Oftentimes a loud voiceis used to drown out that which we don't want to hear or that which weare uncomfortable with or simply don't understand. Could it be thathumanity as a whole is through its very self-destructive actions, doingjust this? Could it be that our ignorance and/or our fear of theunknown is causing us to drown out the voice of Spirit?

The voice of Spirit is the torch in the night that will lead us along the path of growth when all else is in darkness.

Are you willing and able to heed it?

Listen and Come

Just Listen and come In love he created a place so divine so rich and so pure and were part of the vine The branches just grow and thrive with his love as we lift our hands to the Father above. He came gave his life by grace we are saved not by works that we do but the blood that he gave. Makes us righteous and pure in his love gave his all because of our sin and because of our fall. But out of his love we are once more with him forgiven and pure and no more sin. Reconciled he's our father once more. He is the way the truth and the door. None can enter without first finding him getting rid of their pride their anger and sin. He's calling please come and open your hearts door and come live with the father forevermore. He gave his all that you might have life, a life everlasting without fear without strife. One day you'll be home in his arms you will stay, he is listening, he is waiting, you just have to pray. For forgiveness of sin, please open your heart, he created you, loves you, you are there in his heart . He fills you with peace and with joy and with love that only can come from the Father above . So come, live with him forever in love in the home he's prepared forever in love. Amen by Pat "Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."~John 6:35-40~

Without the Truth there is no knowing;

" I am "

“I AM” There,
At the end of your broken dreams,
Before the Sun rises over your day,
Prior to those tear-filled streams.
“I AM” There,
Down that road of despair,
When all seems to be lost,
And no one seems to care.
“I AM” There,
Over all of life’s twists and turns,
When tomorrow is all but gone,
And when you are full of concerns.
“I AM” There,
Sayeth the Lord of Host,
To bring you hope and peace,
And the power of My Holy Ghost.
“I AM” There,
To be sure you make it through,
In the midst of every trial,
To bless your life and deliver you.
“I Am” There by John Marinelli

"May I never give way to self-pity & sorrow,

May I always be sure of a better tomorrow. May I

stand undaunted come what may, Secure in the

knowledge I have only to pray."--Helen Steiner Rice

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." ~Isaiah 41:10~

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my

fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,

nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you make the Most High your dwelling—
even the LORD, who is my refuge-

then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways"~Psalm 91:1-11~

" Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and
today and forever."~Hebrews 13:8~

Though there are dangers untold and stern
Confronting me in the way,
Willingly still would I go, nor turn,
But trust You for grace each day. —Tovey

*If you can't find a way out, look up.*

Fear not, I am with thee—O be not dismayed,
For I am thy God, I will still give thee aid;
I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
Upheld by My gracious, omnipotent hand. —Keith

*Safety is not the absence of danger but the presence of God.*

"Dare to believe when you cannot see or understand.

Decide to trust God instead of dwelling on your fears.

This is the powerful force that separates the believers from

the unbelievers. Complete knowledge does not require faith.

God challenges us simply to trust Him and His word."

Oh the Joy

"Oh the joy I have in the Father" Oh the joy I have in the Father. He stays with me each passing day He's my guide my friend my saviour, Will tell you all about him if I May. When I was in sin he found me washed me clean as white as snow Put his loving arms around me showed in love the way to go. Showed me all the love he had for me and the cross on which he died All for me he paid the price of sin I just fell onto my knees and cried. He forgave my sin and washed my tears away, filled me up with joy and love Brought me peace in all my turmoil that only comes from up above. He lifted me and said come walk with me. Love others with the love I have for you. Let me come into your heart and change you please oh please let me dwell in you. Your my child I love you dearly all you need that I provide Plus a home with me in glory, Eternity at your Father's side. Oh the joy I have in the Father. He stays with me each passing day He's my guide my friend my saviour you too could be with him today. Just open up your heart and let him. Dwell in love and peace within Oh the joy you will have in the Father. Come oh come and walk with him . Written by Pat
"In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." ~Hebrews 1:1-3~ "O God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary

and beheld your power and your glory.

Because your love is better than life,

my lips will glorify you.

I will praise you as long as I live,

and in your name I will lift up my hands.

My soul will be satisfied as with the richest

of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise

you. On my bed I remember you;

I think of you through the watches of the night.

Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of

your wings. My soul clings to you;

your right hand upholds me."

~Psalm 63:1-8~

"Let him who glories glory in this, that he

understands and knows Me, that I am

the Lord."~Jeremiah 9:24~

So lift up your heart to the heavens;

There's a loving and kind Father there

Who offers release—comfort and peace—

In the silent communion of prayer. —Anon.

*Though millions are bending God's ear in prayer,

He listens to each individually.*

Sing praise to God who reigns above,
The God of all creation,
The God of power, the God of love,
The God of our salvation. —Schutz
*Knowing about God is fascinating; knowing God personally is life-changing.*
