Jonathan Robbin wrote this acrostic for me tonight. What fun. Some of the statements are pretty close to the truth.
S trong will behind her surface charm
U nderstands the need for space,
S eeks more than just a smiling face,
A utonomy, ambition arm
N ature's gifts. Apparent calm
D oubts masks as superficial grace
O utfoxes those who would embrace.
N o patience here for praising psalm
A s strong defenses open palm
H ide most adroitly. She would trace
U nspoken motives, trump the ace
E ach hand advances, fearing harm.
S harp observer seeks behind
D umb pre-defined with open mind.
