We went to Vancouver for vacation and had a great time. We started out by flying into Seattle Washington. We saw the Space Needle. It was really boring, I wasn't that impressed by it but I was gglad we had the experience. We then drove to Vancouver. Vancouver has alot of tall building and lot's of people walking the streets. I didn't like running into all the smokers..yuck. We are spoiled in California where there are certain area's people can smoke in order to protect the health of others. I found that most other countries allow people to puff their poisions in your face.
They didn't have air conditioning in any buildings in Vancouver, so we had to keep our window's open. You heard noises all night long...car's honking, people partying etc. It starts to get dark their around 10pm and it get's light at 4pm. So there isn't too much dark time there. We went to Grouse Mountain which the kids loved. We went Zip lining and the boys had such a blast. The forrest there is truly beautiful. We also went to Victoria Island. It wasn't worth going...$200 for the ferry around trip and there really wasn't much to do. We went to Burchart Garden's and Butterfly Gardens. I enjoyed them but the boys were bored. We also went to Capilano suspension bridge and Stanley park. The boys and I bike rode at the park. The park is right on the coast line...it was beautiful.
