long time I sat on the sidelines of the group. Two weeks ago I joined
in and won a Honorable Mention for my Haiku "Paying the Piper." This

- Interests: I'm a Southern woman with all the things from the South breed into me. Meaning I love my family, my work, my dogs, fishing, and camping. I also love to cook. Whether it be a 10 course meal, not done often, or something simple I throw together at the last minute., Spending time with my family, writing, playing with my four dogs, fishing, and camping.
- Favorite Music: Country (new and old), Classic Rock (even though its the stuff I grew up on and I'm not old enough to be considered classic lol), Blues (of course, being from Louisiana), and Easy Listening.
- Favorite Movies: My all time favorite movie is "Gone With The Wind", of course lol. But, I also like anything with Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, and Angelina Jolie it in. I love to watch a good horror movie, but not the ones filled with blood and gore. I like the ones that get your mind to thinking.
- Favorite Books: I love James Patterson, Patrica Cornwell, Johanna Lindsay, and John Grisham just to name a few. As a writer, I know how hard these people have it. I also LOVE true crimes stories. I've written one story about a true crime and hope to do many more.
