Hi, my name is Heather. I was born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington. I have a boyfriend who I have known for about two years now. I help at retirement home with the activities director. Now on to my story. When I was age 2 to 9 my urine back up into both kidneys. I went to Seattle Children€™s Hospital and they had to put teflon in and straighten my urethra tube. I have been good with my kidneys since I was 9. Then when I was 17 I was diagnosed with Chairi Malformation. I could have died or had a major stroke so that same year I had decompression surgery at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane by Dr. Gruber. I now see a neurologist at the Sacred Heart Hospital. My symptoms are tremors, loss of sensation, and a little loss of balance once in a great while. I have been getting headaches this year but I normally don€™t have bad ones. They are caused by the spasms. I found out last December that I have more cysts on my kidneys than is normal for my age. By the age of 40 or 50 they have chance of failing but I don€™t have any trouble with that yet. Recently I found out that I have something wrong with my ankle. You know were your ankle bends there is supposed to be a space. Well, I had bone growing in there so I just had surgery on that on the 10th of November 2006. They removed the extra bone and some cysts. I have it on my left foot as well but don€™t need surgery yet. I also had ACL surgery about a year after my head surgery. I also have ADHD, scoliosis and a little hearing loss. I live at home with my parents and I have a brother named Joe who lives in Bellevue, WA. I have a dog named Shelby.
