Latest News:
1) Having just returned from many months in Europe, specifically Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Luxemborg, I have resumed work on my manuscript (which is to be a series of books, fantasy genre) which I intend to be the first of my published works as an author in a variety of genres.
2) Furthermore, I have taken up dancing again and am learning new styles (mainly I used to do jazz or bellydancing).
3) As a backup for my writing, I completed a Certificate II in Security Operations and my Senior First Aid Certificate with a prodigiously difficult but well regarded Security Institute and in August this year (2007) will be progressing to Certificate III in Security Operations (Majoring in Defence Tactics and Firearms (including the use of batons, handcuffs and so on).
4) Lastly, I do not belong to many email lists anymore due to lack of time. With all my hobbies (listed above) and current projects added to the fact I am a mother of a mature, talented elevel (11) year-old son and have a partner, a beloved (but aging) dog and three cats, then you'll understand why I belong to only a very few select email lists these days and do not contribute to discussions like I once did. My family, writing and studies come first!
5) P.S. However, I do intend to return overseas for a holiday again in Germany within a year and/or to have a friend of mine from Germany visit me and go with me on a five (5) week or so long journey, adventure and holiday around Australia which I am very much looking forward to! I also hope to visit the United Kingdom in the next two years :-)
